Check out this devastating new ad from the Obama campaign:
It has people on the street trying out the new tax calculator website that lets one compare their taxes under Obama vs. under Romney. One husband in the ad says, "wow, we're screwed under Romney"!!!!
And here's the website, so you can check your own taxes:
http://www.romneyplan.org
This reminds me of the epic win of keatingeconomics.com from the 2008 campaign, a website and ad campaign that unveiled McCain's creepy quasi-criminal role in the Keating Scandal. Buh-bye, Mittens.

(10,749 posts)The savings under Obama are still better for incomes up to $497,499. So, all those who are, or think they are, high earners, still come in better under Obama.
What fools these republicans be.

But on the bright side, Romney's tax plan will greatly enrich him and his 1% cronies.

OK, I exaggerated a little, they didn't say, "sorry."
In any case, beware!

(23,796 posts)Obama's ad is one central point shown a variety of ways - paying less under Obama, paying more under Romney. Simple, upbeat, effective.
Romney's ad is the longest reach I've seen in a 30-second ad. Obama's attacking religion in the health care, and Mitt Romney knows things that John Paul II said and did, and John Paul II supported Lech Walesa, and Lech Walesa endorsed Romney, so you should, too. So this ad was why Romney went to Poland? What a freaking mess.
