Seniors, do you have a spare $6,500 a year?

Any liberal billionaires out there looking to fund an independent expenditure PAC campaign, here you go:

When Congress asked the Congressional Budget Office to calculate the cost of the Romney/Ryan plan to change Medicare the answer was shocking.

The Romney/Ryan Medicare plan will cost seniors $6,500 more each year.

An extra $6,500 a year might not mean much to Mitt Romney, but can you afford that? Should you have to?

I would suggest doing this as a voice-over and text ad with the visual an elderly couple sitting on a couch watching TV with their possessions fading out of existence throughout the ad so that by the end it is just them and the couch in a bare room.

As for the fact-checking angle... Romney did endorse the Ryan budget during the primaries, and did pick Ryan as his running mate. And the CBO did score the Ryan budget as costing seniors an extra $6,500/year.
