Romney says that Obama inherited a bad situation but made it "worse"??

That's easy to say but I would like to see his numbers?

As I recall, we were losing 750,000 jobs per month when Obama took office and we had lost 4 million jobs during the Great Recession. Fortunately, we have gained jobs for over 24 months in a row. Can Romney or his supporters show me where he made it "worse"? He has already created more private sector jobs than George W Bush created in 8 years.

As I recall, the banks were going under. The stock market was sinking like a rock. People were losing their retirements in their 401K accounts. The stock market was on it's way down to about 6500. Once Obama's policies took effect, whether we agree with him or not, the banks started making record profits. The stock market went back up beyond 13,000. Most folks regained what they had lost in their 401K's during the Great Republican Recession. Show me where Obama made this "worse"?

Under the circumstances, we would have to say that President Obama has done a pretty damn good job. I think Mitt Romney is full of horse shit.

President Obama took a horrible economy and made it better ... despite the gop's every effort to make it worse.

and usually a giggle. I made an OP a while back about the way he smirks and giggles whenever he lies. It's infuriating to me, and unnerving. Like watching a movie with a psychopathic killer slowly, methodically and smiling as he sharpens his knife and then slits his victim's throat.

or the troops in Iraq (oh, right, they're not there anymore).

Or the traders on Wall Street. The Dow was at 6800 in March 2009, and is 13250 now.

Or the policemen and firemen whose jobs were saved by the stimulus.

Have they seen the S & P today? Hey fucking billionaires - how are your stocks doing?

When GWB was president, especially toward the end, I knew tons of people who lost their jobs, had to walk away from their houses, etc. I don't see people having to go through that at the rate they were four years ago. People can see with their eyes that things are better than they were four years ago. He can say that but people will see that it's just not so.

You will soon be visited by the, "He didn't do anything for me" crowd ... all 3 of them.

I'm not trying to make light of others' circumstance, but just because you did not benefit does not mean that others have not.

Rather what that means is we need to get out there and work harder to get more done; not begrudge the efforts that did benefit people.

It just seems like most people would be able to see in the world that economically people as a whole are doing better. I'm in Michigan and Michigan is SUBSTANTIALLY better than 4 years ago, so maybe my views are influenced by that. Other states might not be doing so much better. I mean we had whole shopping zones that were only empty buildings, but there are lots of new and apparently thriving businesses in those areas now. It seems very obvious to me.

Mr. Robot has no brain, just repeats what others tell him. As for blaming Obama, a lot of people do because that rat George Bush sneaked out the back door when the hurricane was ready to hit. So who gets the blame, Obama. Bushy is laughing all the way to the bank or ranch, whatever.
