Tuesday night’s speech was not the first time Trump turned to the teleprompter. He used one when delivering a foreign-policy speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

8. I never understood what the complaint was about teleprompters.

I have given many talks and I wish I was important enough to have a teleprompter. People would rather listen to a well organized prepared speech instead of someone stumbling around. Just as I have never understood the mocking at someone drinking a glass of water during a talk. Every speaker's podium I have ever been at had water. It was there for a reason.
