Not that I care either way, but considering the trajectory of the Rmoney campaign in recent weeks, and the swallowed pride evident in the wide, yet shallow support he garners from the vast majority of the Republican electorate, and the quasi-considerable presence of Paulite delegates scattered about the floor, I just can't shake that gnawing feeling that if a floor fight breaks out they will be positioned for a hostile take over of the process.
Thought's, idea's, suggestions for floor fight snacking?

(2,122 posts)I just think it's an interesting diametric. 704 delegates not committed to Rmoney, and if he loses any one of the many divergent bases, (i.e. the bigots, birthers, social cons, fiscal cons, neo-cons, un-convicted cons...) it could turn the tide.
I know it's a long shot, but I just can't shake the idea that he will piss someone off and set the place on political fire.

I got the above information from my friend who is a Paulbot. Thanks to that little maneuver, he has now sworn to never vote for another Republican as long as he lives. That Rmoney campaign is making friends and winning fans wherever it goes.

(30,676 posts)The Repubs are rudderless. I'm sure they don't want to change any decisions they've already made, though, as bad as they are. They don't like change, remember?
Ron Paul just isn't popular enough among Repubs to change anything. Independents like him, but they aren't all Repubs.

(1,484 posts)on the floor they get into a huge 2nd amendment circle jerk and the last one that remains standing nominates their right wing folk hero, Adolph Hitler. Then Rand Paul (aka Curly) can step up to the podium and accept the nomination for him, posthumously.
That would float my boat.
