I will apologize and self-delete; but ...
Hell the hell did Greta Van Susteren get on air, especially as a fox conservative (or should that be, a conservative fox) bobbing head?
With the exception of her blondish hair, she's the anti-anchor ... she's "manish", she's unattractive, she has/had a disability (hair-lip (?)), and she is well spoken and somewhat reasonable.
editted to add: Okay ... stratch the "somewhat reason" part ... she just praised gringrich's "we're going to put a base on mars" statement as healthy ambition.

(14,732 posts)an intelligent woman (attorney) who's a devout Scientologist, a supposed 'liberal' who makes her money spouting right-wing talking points for Faux. While at times she can sound almost reasonable, she's like the weather - just wait a few minutes and it'll change.

(14,732 posts)disconnect going on with her. She's a capable attorney and quite articulate. But at the same time she and hubby are devout Scientologists, so who's to say???

(23,720 posts)She was an old Court TV person and before she started working for Faux. she had some work done. She hasn't tried hiding it. In fact she had commented at the time something to the efftct that there would be no point in having it if she didn't want people to know. I can't remember the year but it was in the early 2000's. I want to say between 2004- 2006.
