I loved them. As a high school girl I adored Steve Perry. I had so much of their music.
Now, they're taking money to play for the repubs. I know they have to make a living. Everyone does.
But should they do it for a political party that wants to deny a woman the right to choose supports voter oppression, and is closer to the super wealthy than the middle class and poor? Let's not forget the war on women as well. Keep in mind they're playing for a group of people who stand for everything we're pretty much against.
The question I have is why?

(15,189 posts)Fans than male. This is no excuse. They chose to perform for the haters, so they are in the same category as crazy Ted, and Skank Williams Jr. Blood money. Any way you want it, any way you need it, is that right Journey? Except for abortion.

(9,273 posts)Sounds EXACTLY like Steve Perry. Saw them last summer.
Can't say I was ever a huge fan, classic rock radio played them to death.
"Rock of Ages"--lots of Journey music--was cute & funny despite bad reviews.
I'm less of a fan now.

(4,238 posts)She left her partner in the WH crashing debacle for the guitarist from Journey. It would be hilarious to see photos of her there.
