A first for me

I've read posts where DU members have had interactions / overheard conversations of repukes. Outside of work and family, I hadn't experienced it until today. We went to brunch and sat net to 2 young couples, both with young children.......young girls.

One mother said that she loved Paul Ryan.......the other woman asked who Paul Ryan was..WTF?

This was at a WA beach resort so I have no idea where these people are from or their religious affiliation. But I was speechless that 1.) a woman would love Paul Ryan and 2.) the other woman didn't know who he was.

Go figure the American voters. I hope attitudes and ignorance like this aren't the norm. I can hope, but am not optimistic.

Sorry, it's the norm. People have been disengaged for years now! Only 20% voted in Fla primary! SugarShack Aug 2012 #1
