But I do agree. They fear what they cannot control. Strong women cannot be controlled, by anyone.

I could never be a Republican!

People often fear what they don't know or understand. Continuous feeding of that fear will lead to hate.

If what you fear is seen as a threat - and it always is - you will attack that which you feel threatened by.

when women had less of a roll in the outside world. These men are driven by power and do not need a woman to be a threat to them. It makes them feel inferior. They liked it better when women were at home and it was the man's castle. Times have changed and if they could bring back those days, no doubt, so many men would do that in an instant.

who want women in a subservient submissive role. To them, Eve screwed men over by listening after a snake, they are inherantly weak, and must be protected for their own good.

To say they fear women is way to simplistic.

I heard that some crazy RNC official chastised the New Mexico governor for meeting with Native American tribes because it dishonors the memory of Custar.

We are seen by some as no better than factory farmed animals... here for a very specific need and treated no better than cows or chickens slaughtered for consumption. The reason I use that analogy is because it's biblical. Their bible tells them not only do they have dominion over animals, but women as well. As a matter of fact, they don't stop with women, anyone who isn't a straight, white guy isn't worthy of their respect.

Though, I think there are some repubs that really DO hate women, others view us as nothing more than chattel.

There's no reason to hate anyone the way they hate whole groups of people other than because they fear them. I always figured that was a given.
