Kay Bailey Hutchison's tired wheeze on Morning Joe today...

She trotted out the thoroughly demolished arguments about women only caring about JOBS (and the republicans have NO concrete ideas on how to create them) as if there are no other issues that go straight to the heart and soul of women's "economic security."

All righty, Kay. Here ya go...

-preservation of Social Security is about "economic security" since women outlive men and depend on SS longer. Ditto Medicare.

-pay equity for women is about their "economic security" in case you hadn't noticed.

-affordable birth control is at the heart of women's "economic security" so they can decide whether and when to bring a child into this world that they can care for and provide for.

So let's talk about Republicans records and positions on THOSE issues!

as the weekend talking points for the Republicans. I heard it several times on different panel discussions. They've been trying to cover up Akin's remarks for a full week now and they still aren't finished. Their "pro-life" platform makes it harder and harder to convince people that they really are interested in the economy.
