The welfare ads (of which there are at least five now, and many millions spent airing them) are flatly false.

Whatever hit there is in the media (minimal) for running patently false ads has been taken.

So why welfare?

Why not ads saying that Obama is going to give Maine and Michigan to Canada?

Why not ads saying that Obama is going to impose a 50% national sales tax?


Because people wouldn't believe those equally large lies.

of people on welfare. The majority by a vast margin are white.
Sure the percentage is higher with African Americans but whites hugely outnumber blacks on welfare.
