OK The rain won't stop from Isaac here

We went outside and could not believe the amount of rain we've been getting.

This is my backyard canal that is usually about 4 inches deep at the most. Today it's right at the level of the road.


The Fire Hydrant across the street is under water, too


And it looks like we're just in a lull. There is more rain to come. This is the most rain and flooding I have ever seen in this area. Even Tropical Storm Faye and Hurricane Frances didn't cause this much flooding.

We have gotten about 10 inches of rain since last night.

We got some good rain last week and this weekend but need more!

Boy we really didn't need all of this rain either. 11 inches are just too much in a 10 hour period
