However, it will go over big in the mutual admiration societies. "Aren't we all just great with our hate?"

All the same, Bush is vile and evil, a word I don't use lightly or toss around.

The promise of America with full equality, that he feared that blacks were being given a house that had been destroyed. I've thought of that often when I consider the devastation Bush left behind, morally, economically and every other way. A house destroyed in the eyes of the world and ouselves, and Obama inherited the wind. We're still here though, and we are alive and able to to do the work.

There would be a potentially GOOD poster and member that you lost, as well at the message you were trying to send - LOST!

Acts like torture are excused by declaring them non-rationalized "policy differences" and rationalized laws against torture are ignored in favor of non-rationalized explanations of "looking forward."

It's no different than when Nixon said, "When the President does it, that means it is not illegal."

President Daddy says so, so there.

That's one of many reasons those of us who lived in Texas despised him. He wasn't even good at the accent - though he could sometimes be passable when drunk (why that might be, I will leave up to others). He was a sham, always, and those of us who lived in Texas knew it. All hat and no cattle.

What I didn't understand until he went national was that he was also a sociopath and that he was too addled by his lifetime of drug use (womb to grave) that he was willing and easily used as a sockpuppet for those truly in power.

as governor. I was gone before the idiot got in.

As to a good Texas accent when drunk, I think that has to do with the same reason I will still revert to a Texas accent as soon as I talk to a southerner---it is easier. Instead of enunciation, you just kind of draw words out. My first realization that I was picking up the accent was when I said "oh my gawwwwd" one day. Comes out with no effort.

So, I disagree with this. We have known from the earliest days of President Obama's Presidency that the NUMBER ONE objective of the GOP was to get the voters to believe that that our President was responsible for all of the shit the GOP caused. We here in the DU know better. The GOP can only hope that the American public buys into their subterfuge....it is up to us to prevent that by shining the light of truth on what they do.

Nuff said.
