I certainly hope that it takes off and gets air play. Tom Smith would be an utter disaster for PA.....but so far, he is not polling well, even without some idiot remark.

because I don't think he was going to win anyway; but if it gets national attention the way Akin did it can help to further taint the Republican Party, particularly with women. If only we can get more clueless republicans to discuss their bizarre views about rape. You just never know what crazy thing they will say next.
