"Dukakis probably wasn't as socialist as Romney" and more Freeper hits

From the Freeper thread about Romney's comments boasting about RomneyCare:

I think there are a lot of people who weren't sure whether to vote for Romney, or either leave it blank of vote or vote third party. Apparently Romney wants to make it easy for. On the one issue there might have been justification to vote for him on, he has come out and said firmly stands with Obama on. He can't even lie to us. After the 2010 election, he basically told those voters he's against them.

Clearly he is Dukakis III. (Dukakis II being Kerry) Except, Dukakis probably wasn't as socialist as Romney.

You will NEVER deal with Romney. He will NEVER be controlled. He will KILL Conservatism. Dead.

no Romney, I don’t care if the Rats run a goat. I won’t vote for that goat, but I will not betray Conservatism, and america, by voting for Mitt Romney. Never. Ever.

Then someone posted the website of a third-party candidate named Tom Hoefling.

Another person advocating third-party:

So many people have given up their principles so they picked Romney for the rest of us. How they can defend him is beyond reasonable. Now, it's Romney's Rino party.
I am doing a write in and voting straight conservative the rest of the ballot. We are losing our country right before our eyes. Everything traditional is looked upon as being as a prejudice or mostly an extreme view. Romney just wants to win and Never should have been the leader of the Republican Party.

Then someone shouted: "HELLO! Did you forget about Paul Ryan?"

Romney picked a Simon pure Conservative to run as VEEP on his ticket. WE will have FAR more influence with Romney than with the alternative should Romney be elected.

Then comes an angry confrontation over whether RomneyCare is constitutional:

So where did Mittens get the constitutional authority (in MA’s constitution) to impose RomneyCare? Can you quote it for me?

Maybe YOU can look yourself in the mirror if that clown Obama gets re-elected, but I can’t. I care too much for my children and grandchildren to pull off an Uberpurist Götterdämmerung in November to assuage a self-righteous sense of philosophical purity.

Even if your argument were true. It’s just completely stupid of Romney to keep saying this. He’s daring his base not to vote for him. What is the motive for him to do that. I honestly don’t know. He asked me not to vote for him. Why blame me?
