I'm glad to hear more negative reviews of last night's speeches in the media. I listened on the radio (no TV) and it didn't sound very enthusiastic, as I have heard at Dem conventions, Obama speeches.

I hate the way they are trying to get sympathy for the Romneys through Ann. I thought the speech was a big bust. If she was supposed to "humanize" Mitt, it fell flat.

Dems have a distinct advantage in going last. Our message of unity, diversity, caring for one another... Versus some 1950s idyllic view of the U.S. that never existed and the "government holds us back" meme of the Repubs. I don't see how people can be inspired by that.
