Obama in Fort Collins, Colorado

Cheering and occasionally protesting Northern Colorado residents lined the route of Obama’s motorcade. It sped up Interstate 25 to Mulberry Street, before turning onto College Avenue on its way to the campus of Colorado State University, where 13,000 gathered for the president’s campaign speech.

You have seen this play before. Romney will draw 1200 people, maybe 1500 in a big city if he has pretty boy at his side. Meanwhile Obama will be drawing 20,000 - 70,000.

Americans always go with the winner. They can't help themselves. Nobody wants to be in that group of 1200 -- that's like having to go to Sunday school with your sister. They want to be in the group of 70,000. That's like going to a football game.

It brings back so many memories just to hear about Mulberry Street and College Avenue. (sniff)
