At it's core, the X-Men are about race and discrimination.

(611 posts)No, really. I am a huge fan of Stan the Man. Don't like what's been done with his characters more recently, generally, but love what he did at Marvel.

In the first Iron Man movie, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) greets Stan as "Hef."

(25,415 posts)My brother and I collected tons of his comics back in the 80's. He was more of a Spiderman fan. I love Stan.
