2. I am repeatedly reminded that it was not always thus with the press.

The lies of 2000, the lies of 2004 (e.g. Swiftboats), the lies of 2010, the lies of the Walkerites last spring--

Something has happened. All of a sudden they aren't playing along. Maybe there are rational heads somewhere among the elite who see what's happening & don't like it. Maybe they're putting out the instructions to blow rMoney & Lyin Ryan out of the water. All they need do to damage the Republicans is to expose their lies.

And it seems to be happening.

4. Don't forget Wolf Blitzer and John King of CNN

However reluctantly:

Note the whininess of Wolf's intro: "So many listeners have complained to us about Ryan's lies we have no choice but to report on it. Please don't smite us, Rethugs -- they're making us do it!"

The Obama camp has turned the footage into a commerical: talk about the punishment fitting the crime!

But come election time, those votes you cast, will be counted, most likely, on computers with code that have been hacked. Now ask yourself... all this work, all this time speaking of a subject you are all so passionate about, really centers on one thing, this country and the democracy which gives you a vote to mitigate what direction your country moves in. Now why in the hell would you allow a private company with faulty equipment count your votes? Are ya stupid, or do you all really not care?

For Romney to win, I believe the election would have to be stolen, whether through hacking or voter suppression... but if I am wrong, which I doubt, then this country is doomed. Not because of politics, but because it truly has fallen asleep and allowed the worst aspects of our society to take over and control us all.

But Obama doesn't lie. To my knowledge, he never has. So it's gonna be a lot harder to ride him for anything because he's been blocked time and again by the repukes, their lies, and their blatant distortions.

I look forward to the DNC!!!

Maybe their ratings are slipping, or maybe the bullshit is being slathered on so thick that even their viewership can no longer be fooled...?
