They try to blend in but they also try to let everyone know who they are. Invisible visibility if you're looking to shoot the candidate. Easy to spot if you're looking for them, so therefore a deterrent.

for one of Stupid's conventions, only they lined up a bunch of tame women on the stage instead of black folks. It was just as transparent and just as disgusting since their policies oppress both groups.
