It appeals to the males in the Republican base. They are addicted to conflict, yelling and intimidating others when they don’t have a leg to stand on. Looking strong and aggressive wins the day for many. He comes off as a wrestling jerk to the rest of us. The fact that he doesn’t wear a sports coat or jacket makes him look like a “real guy” kind of like Armendinajad’s home done haircut.

I not only mute the sound, I have to look away as well. Keeping a handy bucket on the floor is probably a good idea too.
