What an inspiring three days! Here's how I plan to get through the inevitable let down....

it is about to get nasty and real ugly. I think many of us were looking forward to these three days to become re-energized and reminded of what Obama and the party are about and who they work for....

But - already on Twitter and on "news" sites the attacks begin - the pundits twist and turn and do whatever they can to either elevate their corporate masters, or ensure this is a close race to people keep watching. And being in a battleground, the attack ads are going to be horrendous.

I am going to try to take a break from it all, spend less time on-line - and figure out what I am going to personally do to ensure Obama gets reelected - probably seeking out the most appropriate local volunteer opportunity. Between now and the debates is a good time to reflect, breathe, roll up our sleeves and as Obama said, be the change.

Looking forward to seeing how the great people here will be each doing their parts to ensure that Obama gets another four years to continue what was begun!

But isn't it nice to be able to reflect upon and have so much pride in how the Bidens, Obamas, Bill Clinton, Sandra Fluke, so, so many others represented our values, ideals, and ways of life? To see such diversity, a reflection of our country - and what a stark contrast to the depressing, mono-cultural, angry hate fest that the other guys dumped on Tampa!

Hate-fueled vs Luv-fueled

Even if it's kinda sappy giddy Luv--which road does a person with a heart & a conscience choose?

Some days I really wish the haters could have their own country.

Can we even imagine a country without this divisive, destructive, venomous element ?

And none of the fighting and stress that results?

seems like Humans are hard wired to some degree to judge and find differences - focus on the few (sometimes) differences and ignore the places we are alike. We are so flawed as organisms - and politics certainly brings out bad behavior, more often than not (as well as good behavior, of course).

Your line about the haters having their own country - my wife and I have expressed that countless times on our many dog walks through the years!

have a great day...
