And She swoops in to defend him. She is very good at never discussing the actual issue. And I should point out she is a military spouse as well as I am.

He did mention them....I Mentioned it during the speech and the next sentence was about the military.

I love how you are able to defend your candidate better than he defends himself. These are his exact words as to why he never mentioned the troops. "When you give a speech you don’t go through a laundry list, you talk about the things that you think are important and I described in my speech, my commitment to a strong military." Basically The troops didn't make "the laundry list" his words, on Fox news, Unfortunately

I wasn't DEFENDING him. I was merely pointing out that he did mention the military. I just don't think Mitt Romney did anything that needs defending..I don't think he feels the need to use us as a photo prop or a punch line. I have often wished that military service was a prerequisite for a president...

Not talking about the troops, but mentioning the military. is like talking about corporations but ignoring the employees
he announced his running mate on a battleship. how is that not a photo prop? currently we are in a war it is important to know what all the candidates plan to do about that war. that is not a photo prop that is just giving specifics as to what you plan to do for the job you're trying to get.
