When Obama wins, I will:

Yes, I said "when." I know it's not over, I am being optimistic. Sue me.

But I am being pounded every day by RWers at work. I am the lone liberal. And so I am having flights of fantasy about how I'm going to deal with it if Obama is re-elected. My heart says "gloat" and my head says "be humble." My head usually wins out when I have internal conflicts like this...

If the teabaggers are all out on their Koch owned asses, he might be able to get something done. If not, then he'll be stymied for another two years and we can't afford it.

And no doubt, prepare myself for the inevitable onslaught ... what's likely to occur is that "we" will lose ground in the Senate, and the Teahadistas will entrench themselves more.

If we're not in a shooting "civil war" at that time.

12. Literally Dance In The Street

Just like I did in 2008. I really did walk out of my house, down my driveway, and do a little dance in the street. And I hope the A-Hole who stole my yard sign between 7:30 and 9:00 the night of the election saw me do it, too. No kidding. I got home with a pizza at 7:30 that night, all set to watch the coverage, and the sign was still in the yard. At 9:00, I looked out the window and it was gone. A short time later, most of the networks had called the election. So what did the sign thief think he was achieving?

I don't really have anyone to gloat to. My SO, doesn't vote, he leans conservative, thinks Romney is smart, I keep telling him he is smarter than Romney, he doesn't get it. Keeps asking how he got the nomination if he is stupid. Well, I have to admit I am stumped on that one. Anyway, I will gloat to him a little, but he really doesn't care. He doesn't hate Obama and he doesn't really like Romney, just thinks he is smart which is weird as far as I am concerned. All of my daughters are voting for Obama. One was leaning Romney until London happened and she was like wtf, he is too stupid to be president. My youngest was never going to vote for Romney, but until recently she didn't get why I was so hopping mad, so I already did my gloating there and that was just an ah ha now you get it. I know a few conservatives, only one republican, but the lone republican thinks Romney is an ass and the conservatives don't like the new republicans at all ie Tea Party idiots. So all my gloating is going to be in honor of all the republicans I will never see, but will be sad they lost.

People assume when someone has a lot of wealth they are smarter than average. But, they really aren't taking all the factors into consideration. The big one for me is how socially inept the guy is. He can't say anything without belittling people. Maybe that has nothing to do with IQ, but it's pretty stupid.

I'll just be so damned relieved that I don't think I'll have it in me to spike the football. I'll just be glad in knowing that our nation will at least have somebody who is sane at the helm of the nation, even if I don't always agree with that person on every issue.
