People splitting their tickets in Massachusetts and Connecticut, why?

Those Senate races should be easy Democratic wins. This isn't the 70s where there are liberal Republicans and conservative Democrats. The parties occupy different universes. I don't see how anyone could vote for Obama and a Republican Senator.

Massachusetts re-elected Kerry in 2008, and Connecticut had no seat seat in play.

I don't have a great understanding of the candidates in MA or CT, I live in Ohio.

That said, I always vote for our republican Mayor. He's done a great job and the Dems who have run against him have been either inexperienced or overtly slimy.

I'm sure there are republicans in certain offices who do a good job and represent their constituents...ALL of their constituents.

CT should hold for Chris, and MA should kick Brown out now that he is known sleazemeister and a racist.

Latest polls show Chris Murphy ahead of Linda the wrestler by 6 points. 95% sure it was PPP.

Some of our Republicans couldn't get voted in as Dems in more conservative states. Most of them are pro choice. I would say McMahon and Brown try to pretend they are the old moderate type but they really are just trying to fool people. But would they be the most conservative Repubs in congress? Hardly.

And we don't have early voting in Connecticut. Wish we did.
