We cannot keep an Obama sign up for 24 hours here in Westmoreland Co., PA. Same problem four years ago. I would never think of stealing a GOP sign but boy I always knew liars will stoop to anything. They even stole "Good Schools = Good Community" sign from my yard and "Tom Corbett's budget leaves every child behind". So frustrating...any suggestions to help keep our signs?

1. This would be really not ethical but...

I had the same problem once and I considered rubbing poison ivy all over the sign so I could see if any of my neighbors ended up breaking out. I shouldn't have mentioned it to my wife.

Somewhere someone posted about using a permanent blue ink and add it to the blue of the sign. Whoever touches it, will be showing the evidence for months, won't come off until the skin gets a new layer...
