I Have a Nuanced Take on The Debates

I thought that quite frankly, Obama didn't do that well. He seemed on the defensive, he was not as compassionate for the unemployed as he could be, and he did not look into the camera. No Bain, outsourcing, 47%, Ryan budget ect. What the hell?

Mitt did not get a home run.

Mitt was rude and condescending.

We got Mitt to admit to privatizing Medicare, Social Security, and PBS. We also got him to take both sides on universal healthcare and reverse his tax plan which will play well for us in the coming weeks.

Nope, Obama did look into the camera, several times. I liked that a lot. CaliforniaPeggy Oct 2012 #1

that whenever Romney spoke Obama looked down or away from Romney. Maybe that was just my own perception. I thought that Obama gave up many good opportunities to counter. The Democrats on tv now are spitting out 1000 words per minute now to explain the performance. Again, it was no home run for Romney. Everyone just expected Romney to be worse but he is a very comfortable liar and to the average uninformed person it will seem initially like he did well. I think the issues I brought up about his policy "changes" in my original post will be a huge liability for Romney going forward.
