This cartoon captures my frustration.

Last time I came across a Republican online (Cardinals board in a Kliff Kingsbury poll thread) he mentioned Dominion and Venezuela. I had to deal with a couple who believed Trump won. I posted an article warning about a 'red mirage' on election night to debunk their claims and left.

That is what happens when you follow Kasich's advice and listen to the other side.

It is.

If the media covered both sides in the same way, our political landscape would be very different.

But, media is owned by the very rich who like having all the cash and like it when Republicans work hard to ensure it never passes through anyone's hands on its way to them.

When repugs are in power, they’re all over talk news programs because ‘they represent the popular national sentiment.’ When Democrats are in power, repugs *still* dominate talking-head programs because ‘the minority opinion needs to be heard.’

Perfect example: When Bush was president, John McCain was on Sunday morning talk shows virtually every week, because he was a "leading voice" of the party in power. But when Obama was president, John McCain was on Sunday morning talk shows virtually every week, because he was a "leading voice" of the opposition party.

Step 1 is having a clear, concise message that people can understand & relate to.

Step 2 is delivering that message over & over until the majority of folks hear it & it sinks in.

We can't do Step 2 unless our representatives are on the talk shows virtually every week. If we need to pressure networks to make that happen, so be it. Try whatever works to make it happen.

I remember how, during the GW Bush presidency, I could see 3-4 different GOP reps on 3-4 different shows in the same day all delivering the same talking points. It was like they all got the same talking points (from Rove?) in the morning. All very coordinated, all very effective.

It's time for the talk shows like MSNBC to start booking real Democrats again. Smart people who have important ideas to consider, and really discuss the issues. I'm so sick of the GOP hogging all the air-time with their constant spray of BS lies.

unacceptable.

These are a great start, and I think I'll send them to MSNBC. I'm sure they read all their email. They did last time I threatened that I and all my friends would never watch MSNBC again if they fired Lawrence O'Donnell. Let's see if this works, too.

because she "lost". Even Democratic leaders were guilty of sidelining her voice. 66 million people want to hear from her. We believed then, and still believe now, that she is one of the most qualified candidates to ever run for high office. Why suddenly was she unfit to even speak for us these last 4 years?

Who here thinks republicans is treating Trump or will treat Trump like they treated Hillary? Shouldn't they be calling him a sore loser over and over?

since he also remained in the Senate after his election loss. Rachel Maddow did a comparison several years ago. In the six months after their election loss Kerry was on a Sunday show only once. McCain was on one 8 times.
