Twitter Turns #SignsYoSonIsGay Hashtag Into Warm and Fuzzy Support Group

<snip>

What the creator likely did not expect, however, is that the good citizens of Twitter would use the very hashtag that inspired this insensitive conversation to defend their gay sons, who are productive members of society, and whose typical Saturday morning plans don't likely include starting an insensitive hashtag game on Twitter. Some of the most inspiring examples below:

#signsYoSonIsGay He's the brave and beloved chaplain of the New York City Fire Department who became the first official casualty of 9/11.

#SignsYoSonIsGay He invented the computer and won World War II by cracking the Nazis' ciphers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Turi…

#SignsYoSonIsGay The terror and isolation he experienced in his youth have turned him into a strong, independent and compassionate man.

#signsyosonisgay He loves his husband & children more fiercely, appreciates them more because their legal standing is so precarious

No matter what the Grinch did to them, and how mean he was--they were still singing and in good spirits after a being sideswiped!
