It was posted on his facebook page today that the rescue that placed him with Nora now wants him back and are taking her to court to reclaim him. It breaks my heart that they would uproot this poor little guy when he's making such good progress and seems happy in his new home.

How terrible. Obie is doing so great with her. I hope the judge looks at her FB entries and will see how far Nora has helped Obie come.

I disappeared for awhile because I'm at work. I signed the petition earlier, I can't imagine anyone else doing a better job with Obie than Nora has been doing. I was worried when I first started following Obie's story that the stress of losing weight would be too much for him but he's healthy, happy and successfully losing the weight.
