Ann's trying to make them look like plain old folk again

Anny was on Rachel Ray communing with the little people of America

"I always start at Costco," Romney said on the "Rachel Ray Show" today as the audience watched pre-taped video of her pushing an over-sized grocery cart at the bulk-goods store.

Zooming around the store that she' didn't name by location, Romney grabbed large bags of spinach, several containers of frozen cream puffs and pre-cooked rotisserie chicken.

"The great thing about frozen desserts, they're always ready to go," Romney gushed.

For roughly $4.50 per person - a $137.50 tab - Romney can feed all five sons and their families, a total of 30 people, she said.

Then she said how Mitt will cut to the front of the buffet line at holidays. Sounds about right - me first, it's all about me

It probably is more like $45.00 per person. I can't imagine those Romney's eating rotisserie chicken from Costco. Unless they're rotisserie cornish game hen.

4.50 per person? for one meal? I read that and did a double take. She thinks she's being thrifty and smart. I know they don't have to pinch pennies like a lot of us, but damn....

He brought a gold handle shovel which cost 7.9 million dollars!!!!!!!! I can't understand why they try to look normal, when we all know otherwise? If they would be who they really are, maybe they would be a good family and people might like them?

I can't stand Ann Romney either, but as a person with MS, I find your comment to be insensitive at best. I luckily don't have too many issues with the disease, but what many people don't know is that MS is an invisible disease for the most part. She may not be physically crippled RIGHT NOW, but it could happen to her (or to me) at any time. It really sucks when your nervous system goes against you.

In any event, I think she is a nasty, unlikeable person, but I won't make fun of her disease.

she does shop at Costco... that's not the point the Romneys have every option available to them... when she really is forced to budget, then I will listen

...and what in hell are they trying to save money for??? just so it doesn't trickle down to the "little people"??? I can't take her (or the rest of them) seriously

if you want to live cheap and do it yourself go ahead and give 90% of your money away not just 10.
If I had a quarter billion dollars I would be hiring people to do stuff for me all the time just to get rid of it in a good way.
And I'm lazy....
You want me to take out the trash honey?
okay...I've got a guy for that....
Hey Rick take out the trash...
