When I spent a year in France in 1968 as a young man, I ate the best Vietnamese cuisine I've ever tasted. Lots of Vietnamese refugees lived in France after the Indo-China war and mingling with them could satisfy Mitt's longing for Vietnam.

Fighting for that last pain au chocolat at the boulangerie can get pretty scrappy -- a lot like fighting in Vietnam.
