I EARLY VOTED TODAY!!!! Dallas, TX
Had a personal day off, so went to vote mid-morning. There was a line! Dallas County.
There was a GREAT sign posted. It said "PHOTO ID is not required at this election." Pretty clear! Very proud of our local elections people for that.
Great system. The line wasn't long, but they moved us through very politely.
I was going to vote straight Dem. ticket, but another poster here said not to do that (ivotronic eletronic voting system), but rather, vote each individual race. It's harder to flip that way. So that's what I did.
I was careful to review all my choices at the end to make sure that's what I checked.
Voila! A vote for President Obama and every Democrat (or Green Party is there was no Dem.) available as a choice. Where the choice was only Repub and Libertarian, or just one or the other of those, I didn't vote at all. Maybe should've voted for the Repub as the lesser of 2 evils.
