(Update) Is There Really a Difference Between These Two Men? You Decide (Picture/s)

Last edited Sun Oct 28, 2012, 10:34 AM - Edit history (3)

I woke up to find that my post from last night had lots of DU likes which I thought was great because I really liked the impact that the pic I posted last night had (see picture at bottom). However, as several people have pointed out, although Romney appears to be getting a shoeshine, he is actually getting wanded at an airport.... allbeit, sitting in a wooden chair at a private airport looking like a doofus. I posted this pretty late last night, so I didn't even notice he was being wanded and not shined ( that sounded a little dirty, sorry , the wanded or shined part that is ).

So, being a good Democrat (we're supposed to be the honest ones, right?) I put together a new graphic that I think makes the same point, but in an honest way.

Here you go:

This is the original Shoeshine? version

Okay, I made my guess. Now tell us how you don't know what is going on in the first picture.

...and I know it looks like Mitt is having his shoes shined or something, but in actuality I believe he was being checked for the plane....but I posted this on FaceBook and my followers are going wild with it!!!

Regardless of Mitt getting a shoe polish or not, it does truly show the difference between these two candidates—and there is a HUGE difference. We can't let Mitt hold the office of U.S. president—hell, I'm ready to move to Canada.

....also, this is the first political picture I've posted on FaceBook because I have a popular podcast and I don't like posting political or otherwise sensitive material....but you know what?....FUCK IT!!!! LET'S DO IT AGAIN, OBAMA!

Using the Romney picture just takes away credibility. I suspect that there are pictures out there of him being a douche that would accurately portray the same message.

Like everyone else in the world has to do.

Someone brings a seat for him to the tarmac and he sticks his foot in the guys face.

He was getting his shoes checked for bombs. A man with SS protection cannot pass through TSA check point, goes to show how useful the TSA is.

Fear and wonder

Not have a chair brought out to the tarmac to serve his sorry privileged ass.

Nobody flying general aviation has to go through security lines.
