How soon before Romney starts pretending to care about Sandy's victims?

You know it's going to happen - he'll show up somewhere as if he gives a damn about what's happened, and put on his faux presidential face while the cameras roll, all the time trolling for votes.

He is such a shameless whore.

The problem is that his compassion is the only thing about his campaign that is transparent. Like everything else it will be fake.

Of course, the President won't be acting, but Repubs won't buy it. You know, the old, "Sincerity. Once you learn to fake that, you've got it made" line. Romney will try to fake it, Pres Obama doesn't have to fake it.

That is Mitt Romney's style.

Opportunist, fake, deceptive, dangerous.

I think, no I know, that he will screw it up. It just occurred to me that this huge event can actually hurt Mittens because his plan WAS to ride the rest of the campaign out without talking to the press and just be in his protective bubble, because when he is not, well we know what happens.

So because of Sandy and her potential destruction, will Mittens awkwardness be again spotlighted and his complete and utter lack of compassion for others be highlighted for all to see???

And will our Presidents genuine love for the American people break thru the lies they have been pounding home with all their negative ads and rhetoric and such. Even with the MSM's prejudice against the President, will his basic people skills, you know like his COMMUNITY ORGANIZER skills, come shining through in what might be a huge deal. Imagine if this President was in office for Katrina, might have been a little different vibe right?

I hope Sandy is a dud and no one is hurt and everyone gets to do their thing this week and next, but this coming event might in some unforeseen way actually help our country.

The other side always talks about real Americans this and real blah blah blah take our country back that but Sandy might just illustrate to just enough of our fellow countrymen who really is the best person for the job of President!!!
