rethink the drones
I'm going to see our wonderful president tomorrow and if I get within earshot of him, this is what I will say. I have been an unwaivering supporter of our President since he gave the speech at the democratic convention (as a Chicagoan, maybe even before that), but I think that the opportunity to remind him of the lives that are at stake from the drone strikes needs to be validated. I certainly support our president and would never do anything to cause him to keep from being reelected, but given this one chance to voice my feelings to him, this is what I will say. Mostly because I believe he will listen.
