5. I would love to go back 50 years

1962 was a good year

Wages were rising, energy was cheap, we were at peace, we weren't fully engaged in Vietnam yet, the Beatles had their first hit, health care was affordable, as was college -- and real estate, employment was high, there was a progressive spirit in the country, JFK was president. Things weren't perfect (abortion and civil rights), but we were moving forward and gaining ground quickly.

The corporatists want to take us back 90 years.
