Ok that was kinda creepy. I just went outside to take the trash out and heard

an exceptionally loud jet going over. So I looked up trying to find it, as we all are want to do on occasion. I saw a large jet escorted by two smaller jets, one on each side. Then a little further back another large jet escorted by two smaller jets. I couldn't make out anything but silhouettes (didn't have my glasses on). They were traveling in a west-southwest direction over NW Ohio.
Anyone have a clue as to what/who it might have been?

9. I watched it once in Seattle -- clear blue skies (really! Seattle!).

It came all the way up to the north end of Lake Washington, did a slow lazy turn to the West then to the South, and I watched until it disappeared. WAVES of chils! It was the regular flight path from Sea-Tac, and it was kind of eerie that it was the only plane in the sky. I don't remember an escort jet, though.

18. Because I was watching him on TV take off from Boeing Field and I ran

outside to see if it had taken off to the North since that's the regular route and we'd see a string of planes when that was the case. The sky was totally empty, then in the distance it appeared and came closer and closer... . Not close enough to see The Unites States of America, but close enough to ID the type of plane.

24. Marine One (president's helicopter) flew just behind our house in OH in 1974

(Nixon was aboard) on the way to see the damage from the Xenia tornado. There were several big helicopters so you couldn't tell which one he was actually in.

I was driving heading toward DC when over a copse of trees 2 fighter jets went zooming by. Next a big plane with a big blue nose went overhead. Was very exciting.
