The "Very funny, God" Electoral Map

If God is a prankster, as the existence of the Platypus suggests she may be, this would be an amusing O'Henry style mind-f**k for Republicans.

God answers Mitt's prayers. Romney wins Ohio, and Virginia and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and Obama doesn't win any state that could really be called an upset... and Romney loses anyway.

This, of course, not a prediction. It is an example of an unlikely, but not impossible, electoral vote scenario.

PA's in the bag for Obama. No question. HopeHoops Nov 2012 #4
Curiously, from what I've seen it is a good way to map it. HopeHoops Nov 2012 #3

To PA blue... With MI, WI, OH, and NH

To FL red, with CO, NV, NC, VA, and IA

The end result is 269 votes each???

Iowa and Virginia are two states that appear to be trending Obama, so it would be surprising for Mitt to get those both while losing NH.

It is quite a wild map this year, though. So many plausible 269, 270, 271 scenarios. Addicting to play with the map.

My prediction right now is 294. The expected 281 states plus Virginia.
