Cool canvassing experience!

Was out canvassing today here in the city, and one house I knocked had a son who was 18, just finished HS this past spring, and was going to be voting for the first time. He asked a lot of questions about local races, then asked me how he can someday volunteer to knock doors too.

DING DING DING! We have a winnah!

Since his house was just a few blocks from where we were coordinating volunteers today, I walked him down there to introduce him to the coordinators and told them to hook the kid up with a clipboard.

I hope he has a blast.

(My RW relative is going out with me tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait! Will update as to how that went. Should be interesting!)
