A reminder about Garland:

He appointed Jack Smith within two days of the Lardass of Maralago announcing his candidacy for 2024. It was that event that made a special council necessary in the first place.

That is all.

I for one think today's move will eventually benefit the President politically, especially as the stark contrast between his actions and the slumlord's becomes more apparent.

1. I think you're right about the contrast between Biden and Trump.

It will make Trump look even more like the criminal he is for not cooperating at all, while Biden is completely open.

If he hadn't, then it would look political.

I'm ready for the orange headed buffoon to be indicted, since we know he committed crimes with the documents, including the whole bunch that National Archives knew he had and had asked to be returned.

2. Seems like nobody's really 'happy' with Garland

The RW'ers have been crying 'witch hunt' the past 2 years, and the LW'ers are complaining he moves at a turtle's pace. It'll be nice to get some closure on these cases if that ever happens.

Certainly from a perspective of character, it is so obvious that Donald tRump is dishonest, and uses anything and everything solely for his own personal gain, lies and cheats for his personal advantage, and does not base any of his decisions on whether it is good for the country or not. Joe Biden on the other hand may not perfect, but he acts in good faith for the good of the country, which makes an honest mistake much more forgivable....

by a Republican Senator (Hatch I beleive) as someone they could work with. I heard that on Thom Hartman today.

further intensify the sideshow. It is a ridiculous waste of time most likely spurred by a group of losers who are pissed off that they lost and are now throwing a tantrum. They see this as a way to further undermine our next election cycle. This is only the beginning mind you. It is going to be two years of non-stop flinging against the wall to see what sticks.
