Today is a good day to contact your Senators and tell them to fix the broken filibuster rule.
The window to get this fixed is small so we need to put the pressure on starting now.

(47,675 posts)1. Agreed. Just threatening one shouldn't be sufficient to require 60 votes.
Either nuke it entirely or at least require the threat to be backed up by an ACTUAL filibuster. Sanders was the last one to actually filibuster and he only made it 8 hours.

or perhaps give the minority 1 filibuster per session.. make them choose when it's important enough.. Men love their sports analogies.. is there any sport that allows unlimited "time outs"?
