Is there any way to patronize LOCAL merchants (thinking Costco) so that the money (via paypal) could go to their communities instead on into Amazon's pockets?

18. It's a good idea but Costco doesn't have a registry.

19. I just talked to the manager at my Costco & he said..

"Wow..that's a good idea..I'll check into it"..

Maybe they will set one up. It would be helpful to have money flowing into & staying in the affected communities. I'm sure they could arrange for transporting the goods locally since so many are car-less.
He is calling me back on Monday.

20. Excellent. Though, to set up an online registry would take at least a couple of months of

design, programming, testing, etc... Maybe they could come up with an alternative solution.

Purchases are now currently being sent to one address and distributed from there.
