Indeed. That's what happens when hysteria is the measurement of (political) facts. libdem4life Nov 2012 #2

Did the oracle at Delphi have an opposite and these are the children of that opposite?

utterly wrong makes it even more delicious. The President won by almost exactly the huge margin in the EC that all these barf mats predicted for Willard.

Stupidity should hurt a lot more than it does.

But these people can't really feel something that approaches shame. In fact, expevt double talk and excuses. It's already started with a few of them.

Hypothesis: On election eve, PBO & Michelle have a tender hug to mark the end of their campaign. I got the impression that PBO wasn't completely confident. He seemed emotional, like something was out of place or may not be right or this may be it.

Enter these two pages of uninformed RW pundits all quite confident prior to the election, with a landslide outcome for RR. I wonder if this is what was weighing heavy on his mind.

The election passes, PBO wins and the next day goes to thank his team at PBO headquarters in Chicago. When the words begin to come out of his mouth that the work they had done meant a lot to him, b/c it validated all his hard work, we all know the result. I wonder if that was him saying 'I gave this presidency everything I had and I did it remaining true to my ideals. And when you guys came through for me, putting everything you had into it, you showed me that what I was doing made a difference and had meaning.'

Against what may have been PBO's perceived potential drubbing, America and OFA came through just as we had in '08. I can see now why Mr. Obama got emotional.
