Paula Broadwell’s Driver’s License Turned In To Maryland Park Police On Sunday

A driver's license belonging to Paula Broadwell was turned in on Sunday to the Maryland-National Capital Park Police, a park police spokesperson has confirmed to TPM.

Earlier Tuesday, U.S.News & World Report first reported that the license had been found by a jogger in Rock Creek Park in Washington D.C. Lt. Bill Kellogg, the Park Police spokesman, also told TPM that the park police notified the FBI on Tuesday about the license's discovery.

On Friday, Broadwell was identified as the woman with whom former CIA director Gen. David Petraeus had been carrying on an affair. Kellogg said it was all the attention surrounding Broadwell that prompted his agency to contact the FBI.

"To us it was nothing suspicious," Kellogg said. "It was just lost property that was turned in."

As of Tuesday afternoon, the Park Police was still in possession of the license.

1) CIA - it could be a spook fake.

2) when do I take my license out of my wallet? Not often.

3) somebody impersonating her? Maybe at the bank? Access to a safe-deposit box?

4) she's shook up, disturbed by the scandal, so loses it because her rhythm is upset

5) someone broke into her house and took it as intimidation
