This was a courageous and hugely consequential Biden choice.

He turned away from the neoliberal economists who had done Wall Street’s bidding for decades and instead prioritized real people and the real economy. And the results have been great.

Remember when the experts said that to get inflation under control we needed to lower wages, and drive up unemployment?

I never bought that.

Instead, I focused on getting more Americans into the workforce, fixing our broken supply chains, and lowering costs.

And it's working.

And getting results.

As long as inflation continues to go down, jobs added every month until the election, wages go up, and the economy keeps improving, Joe will be re-elected.

I'd say he's met so many of Washington's fixtures that he's hard to impress anymore.

the kind of extreme economic conservatism the Koch alliance, ALEC, anti-tax/anti-government conservatives, etc have been pushing on the nation.

"Neoliberal" means the very opposite of liberal economics.

This author didn't suggest Biden was neoliberal, but many malign manipulators use the word to deceive people about us. "Liberal/neoliberal...."

So, since Biden never espoused RW extremist unregulated economics, HE didn't "turn away," he's been turning NATIONAL POLICY away.

I thought it meant "a return to liberal policies." So whoever came up with this Orwellian term, it worked.

Neoliberal, "establishment", "Third-way", "conservadems" all are bullshit. Biden has done such a great fucking job. Far better than portrayed by corporate media.

I say that this is exactly what needs to happen... well, to corporate CEOs and the rest of the C Suite. The collective compensation of the C Suite individuals for just the Fortune 500 is probably in the 10s of billions of dollars, most likely even more.
