Read the headline, then see a typical rw reaction, then actual story:

Headline: Doors shut at 10 Upper Crust restauarants, about 140 employees are out of work

RW Reaction: Obama did this! Businesses are shutting down because of him! I don't need to read the article fox/rush/hannity told me (ie read the headline to me) about it

The Article:
Upper Crust has abruptly closed most of its restaurants, let go about 140 employees, and will shut down permanently unless the gourmet pizza chain gets a cash infusion in the next few days, according to a trustee overseeing the Boston-based company.

At a hearing in US Bankruptcy Court Tuesday, the trustee, Mark G. DeGiacomo, said Upper Crust shut restaurants Monday night because it had just four days of supplies and only $14,000 in cash after company executives paid themselves a month’s salary in advance.

..

The turn of events marks a swift unraveling for the pizza empire, which gained a loyal foodie following and expanded to more than 20 locations across the region. But the company cut corners with expenses and relied on a supply of immigrant workers from the impoverished village of Marilac in Brazil, according to a Globe investigation published in 2010. The Brazilian employees claim they were underpaid for long work weeks and faced tough working conditions.

The US Department of Labor first investigated the company in 2009 and ordered Upper Crust to pay workers about $350,000 in back wages. Several employees, in a class-action lawsuit, said they were forced by company executives to give back the federally-mandated payments or lose their jobs.

Upper Crust now owes workers about $850,000 in back wages and damages, according to court records filed recently by the Department of Labor. A second federal investigation of pay practices at the Boston business between 2009 and 2011 found it violated minimum-wage and overtime laws and failed to pay 67 employees roughly $425,000 during that period.

And it is going to keep being like this for another 4 years. Bad management at a company? Not possible, it's Obama!

You didn't make that company go under, we did!

Company makes more money, hires some folks....crickets (and they did accomplish that all on their own they will say if it does make news).

In a nutshell - If it is negative, blame Obama. If it is a positive give credit to someone else.

Think I will start my own website that just has headlines I write, sell adverts on it, and when you click the headline it just brings you back to the main page. Cause those idiots won't be clicking anyway, they like their radio version of webpages. Short on facts, long in implications.

Someone in the Corporate office - what's left of it. It would be unfortunate if anyone thinks this is because of the election. This is a pissjng match between the owners. Back stabbing and crewing each other over. And it was a long time coming.

And the trustee on this is big jerk!

3. Certain companies are using Obama's re-election as a cover for layoffs that were already planned.

Right-wing owners who were going to lay off a bunch of people anyway are simply using it as an excuse because they're mad their guy lost (or more likely, mad that they wasted their money).

His evil is so powerful that I lost it in 2001, and he wasn't even in the Senate yet!

I also woke up with a sore back, and I'm pretty sure he caused that too.

Obama just zipped over to Nigeria and sucked them into his plan for the future. When they were preschoolers.

7. This "grab all you can" mentality is spreading from Wall Street like a disease

The rich seem less interested in investing as a means to increase their wealth lately, and more interested in simply grabbing all they can (theirs or not) and sitting on it. It's like a slow motion massive looting of the economy in progress.

The other day RWNuts were talking about voter fraud cause in Boston they have 2 ballots and they said it showed a 139% turnout, (I believe it was Boston). They are unbelievably lazy non-thinkers.
