Paperboy chased up tree by bug-eyed goat named ‘Voldemort’

A Utah paperboy hid atop a tree so long this week that his parents reported him missing. Amusingly, a bug-eyed goat named Voldemort was to blame.

The goat is apparently a neighborhood pet, according to The Deseret News. He’s named after the villain in “Harry Potter” for his off-putting, seemingly evil appearance.

That’s part of why 14-year-old Jaxon Gessel was so shocked when it pounced on him, wrapping its front legs around his bike and giving him such a scare that he scampered up a tree and stayed there so long that his parents reported him missing.

Police ultimately came and returned the goat to its owner. The boy was fine.
