Biden is abut as clear eyed and capable on foreign policy as anyone that we've had in that chair for a while. And given that and the tenor of this administration - you can bet that both State and intelligence are delivering similar clear eyed and no-nonsense assessment virtually on a daily, perhaps hourly, basis.

What has been going on in Israel (including the unfortunate spectacle of Netanyahu) has been under intense scrutiny from all sides for years - and intensely and extensively analyzed both internally and also in the public and media. In fact, there is hardly a foreign player on the globe that we pay, more attention to.

There is little evidence that the U.S. administration is getting 'played' - about anything - either military, strategic or political.

The use of those names in reference to the West Bank areas are very common among the population. The UN used those names in 1947 when setting up the partition.
