A federal appeals court has ruled that Donald Trump ***CAN*** be sued for inciting the Jan. 6 crowd.!

BREAKING: A federal appeals court has ruled that Donald Trump *can* be sued for inciting the Jan. 6 crowd. He is not "immune" because he was president, the circuit rules.

The biggest holding: Trump's efforts to seek a second term are NOT entitled to official immunity. Just because a president wants to keep governing doesn't make his efforts to keep power part of his official duties.

Trump Can Be Sued Over Capitol Riots

“Donald Trump can be held civilly liable for the actions of the mob that attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, an appeals court ruled Friday in a long-awaited decision that could clear the way for lawsuits seeking financial damages from the former president,” the Washington Post reports.

“The unanimous decision by a federal appeals court in Washington is expected to be appealed and also offers insight into how the court could view Trump’s argument that presidential immunity also protects him from being charged criminally for his efforts to stay in power after the 2020 election.”

Meaning the Sicknick family and the families of the police officers who took their own lives after 1/6.
